I won't pretend to know why FDA scheduled that Adcom on those days, but they were absolute idiots for not checking for major conference conflicts before setting the date - there will be almost no one there, anyone worth their salt will be at the AHA conf. I agree FDA moves it to a later date - if they have any brains, they'll push it past the AHA and/or NEJM publication so they'll have full R-IT data on diabetics to discuss. For once I think you provided some useful and actionable info to Janet - she seemed totally blindsided by the AC/AHA conflict - unbelievable.
