Lets say you come out to 10M or 20M shares post R/S...if you are still incurring those expenses as we are now when you post the gain or loss it will be with considerably less shares meaning that if you still are posting losses those losses are now spread over less shares of stock showing larger losses and thus you have the stock pummeled again...and vise versa on any profit side...meaning you should not do a R/S with continuing losses and that puts you between a rock and a hard place...you need the cash if it would even be available but you know that if your expenses isn't under control your going to take a beating all over...thus we have wash, rinse, and repeat terminology...and rightfully so imo
