They had $1,000,000 in convertibles due between late Aug. and end of Sept. From the volume its apparent they some how managed to kick those down the road. Given CZero blessed their product in terms of meeting safety and operating codes, and Craftsmen continued to be their primary installer as late as early summer I think its reasonable for those of us who are getting crushed to have some hope. But for goodness sake no new investors should take this plunge into no news land based on our not having been fully crushed yet.

The last update from Jatropha in the 10Q was still positive, but acknowledged that funding was needed.
"A representative of the National Union of Jatropha Producers approved the generator-equipped truck. It will go into production as the Company secures final funding."

The 10Q also indicates that NAFTA is affecting the 10 orders...
"On April 9, 2018, Jatropha executed a purchase order with the Company for 10 Ford F-350s with MG80 kVA systems installed. The value of the initial order is in excess of one million dollars.
It’s too early to tell whether the NAFTA renegotiations will impact the company or the production and delivery of its products to Jatropha. In April 2017, Donald Trump threaten to exit NAFTA if it wasn’t renegotiated. Since then eight rounds of negotiations have occurred. Major sections such as rules of origin on vehicles and major market access rules have yet to be decided. More negotiations are scheduled, but upcoming elections in the US could change the political calculus and slow the process as a new Congress is sworn in."

Now we have NAFTA negotiations completed we could get an update, but if funding to move into production is holding up the sales, that funder could require NAFTA be signed into law which won't happen until 2019. By then the customers could of moved on.

What I don't understand is why can't they get anyone else interested in the product besides the Mexican farmers. Do they need to have a big sale to fund going into production before they can do small 1 off sales? I can't see the purpose of that being a necessity.
