edison lied to investors -saying he had a successful bulb -when he did not - to do fundraising-was much easier to lie in those days to investors BEFORE electricity- i hear many in the younger generation denying there was a time before electricity as history is one of the subjects tossed into the trasbin-

yes and there was a time before pc's and the internet-if the younger generation puts their thinking cap on they might be able to figure out that cause and effect though that would dramatically alter their world view that these things have always existed
