I didn't forget DA! I finally got around to talking to one of my doc friends. I asked him what type of degrees pre-med students go for when thinking of med school. His response was that basically most any science major will qualify- ie., biology, chemistry, human sciences, and etc.,. He did say that going for those degrees will also have pre-req classes such as math, foreign language, English, and etc., that train right into the pre-med path as well. Any counselor worth his or her salt will know the ropes on how to navigate and expedite the course maze.
