OK, let's see if I have this right:
Soy beans remove CO2 from the air. 40% of the soy bean goes to production of fertilizer that increases productivity of soy beans (and other CO2 reducing crops) while 60% goes to the production of a carbon-based energy source that replaces fossil fuels at a ratio of about 1:1. So in every production cycle beginning with soy bean planting, there is a net 40% resequestering of CO2 greenhouse gas. That is, 40% of the total CO2 used to produce the soy bean goes back into the ground as fertilizer while 60% is recycled? Anyone know more about this than this fake doctor, DrFeelgood?
