Nidan,

Insightful as always:

“... the schedule got pulled in and this guy has stepped forward while the FDA and Precision Medicine are seriously in need of a credibility shot. There is a lot going on here folks. Why this, why him, why now? This is a big deal, IMO. He would not be doing this if that were not true, IMO. If I were in control at BIIB I would be sounding general quarters about now.”

You touch on all the pertinent points. We have our big guns out. 3 year results, precision biomarkers, HH, 2 trials at once...

I cannot resist making a bold prediction. I agree with what you say, but would add, you know who else is seriously in need of something here? Pretty much every BP, but BIIB is making their case obvious. So, I’ll go with them.

We dropped the “test bomb” off the coast at the AAIC. They didn’t surrender. So, we got a new funding source CF, trial approvals, began enrolling in Spain, additional patent approvals, Regulatory Pathfinders,...

They can see our guns and know they are outplayed. Biogen is a Gold Sponsor of the CTAD (highest level). They did not change their time slot nor issue a PR, like last time.
They will capitulate. Not at the conference - the CEO is not scheduled to be there at the presentation (and that’s a CEO announcement - ending a trial)...this has a much different tenor than last time. That was their strong arm approach. I believe this time they come in peace and are ready to report mediocre results, while letting us and our big guns have the spotlight. I think they want us to shine...it will make the case much more compelling for their shareholders when the big deal goes through. They are selling the acquisition to their investors now, imo. It’s their smartest move.

Know why our trial hasn’t appeared on the AUS registry yet? Cause it’s the Enola Gay...just doing a fly by, in case needed...but it shouldn’t be.

They will stand down the troops and prepare to sign the treaty. Treaties are good things. After you surrender, don’t forget, your enemy helps you REBUILD your forces and repair your damages! And, the FDA comes along with them. We can offer our pearl(s) of inestimable value. They can offer us a ton (and I mean ton!) of cash, help with FDA approvals, US trials, many trials, and infrastructure to manufacture, market, and sales/distribution for our products.
Together, with our pipeline, precision medicine, and their bankroll, we will be the largest BP globally (Don’t sell all your shares as soon as the deal is done!).

The AUS trial registry may come after a US trial approval, and they may both be registered under a combined name.

Biogen is smart, and greedy, and well resourced as a big pharmaceutical (labs, international markets, sales and marketing team) everything, all in place, and wants this deal. Missling has 10 guys and a drug which halts and in some cases reverses Alzheimer’s and will be approved for every CNS disease we get our hands on. Everybody knows this. We have hidden nothing - they know this works (skeptics, pardon my confidence), we all know this works, it’s safe, it’s the magic bullet - period. No more games. Very soon, we ride.

It’s over. And everyone benefits. Patients, caregivers, investors, both management teams, the biggest BP on earth, the FDA, and precision medicine.

No more battle stations. As WolfofMia quoted aptly earlier, “Victorious warriors win first and then go to war, while defeated warriors go to war first and then try to win.” Sun Tzu

But, eventually, no more war. Ecclesiastes 3

To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
2 A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;
3 A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;
4 A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;
5 A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;
6 A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away;
7 A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
8 A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.

Peace,
Bio
