The effects of that mvtg debt affected all of its debt negotiations going forward!!
Debt always has negative consequences either:
1. to an entities ability to secure better terms for future debt or,
2. perceived value by those loaning money, or even:
3. perceived value by new or existing stockholders!
Somehow that debt has to be paid whether directly causing a decrease in potentially profitable revenue or a decrease in the amount of potential net proceeds of a sale of the debt laden entity!!
Again.... you cannot win this argument!
