what you just described is what I learned in school about trasistor theory. thanks for the reminder. I guess that guy, a few years ago, who explained to me more than I remember about solar cells, was either incorrect or he fooled his way to his PHD. I wonder. I cant say much about the subject, I dont remember much, and it appears to be much more complicated now that there are many compounds out there that absorb light throughout the spectrum and convert to electricity.
