he was a fa I believe at the end of the year, they weren't about to let him go to FA after trading for him, and quite frankly, teams are always desparate when it comes to the long-term answer at the QB position. I think the chiefs QB looks great as well. But lets not make the 49ers qb to be brock osweiler man that was a wonderful contract my texans gave out. The 49ers QB is better than you think considering the lack of talent he has on this team right now, keep in mind goodwin is the guy when he came in last year that was his big target and so far in 2018 if you blinked you would of missed him, once he gets back the offense will be much better in my opinion.
