I think the 49ers qb is pretty good considering the team he has got around him. I mean name me one star on this team at any skilled position, I like the TE but that is about it, and he is far from proven. And keep in mind his favorite target at the end of last year in goodwin got hurt in game 1 early and didn't play in game 2 so do keep that in Mind. I think the SF QB is rock solid, but they need better skilled players around him in my opinion. Getting goodwin back would help for starters.
