Active arm sees improvement but the placebo arm doesn't ...........how do those in the placebo arm know the active arm is seeing improvement. ?
They don't have access to the drug ...only the active arm does and for all you know they may be having previously undetected adverse events .

They don't - which is why they (as per your assertion) just go and get a drug that is proven to work regardless of whether they're in the active or placebo arm, so long as their bloodwork comes back showing no improvement.

Ergo, almost any CAD trial result is doomed to fail or be skewed dramatically by such patient non-compliance (your claim, not mine). Doesn't that sound ridiculous? Yeah I thought that, too. Especially as for that extremely cynical view to actually hold water, we're claiming trained professionals who have previously conducted similar double blinded trials haven't thought of this possibility, ever, and planned for such an eventuality.

Thanks for the wishes - I hold about 20k shares right now and a substantial number of call options, which is fairly modest compared to some of the other folks on this board.
