TGD is mainly a finance guy by work and educational background. There are times in the life of a company when such skills are appropriate for the CEO (raising money, uplisting to Nasdaq) but when a biotech company moves into clinical development, a different set of skills and experience are required. It is not unusual for a board of directors to retool the management team and bring in people with skill sets that are better suited to the needs of the company going forward. Missling is really just a CFO with a CEO title and the hefty compensation package and prestige that go with it. It seems obvious that a change is long overdue.
