I am just utterly shocked about the whole MAA filing debacle - its like knowingly hyping up a deal to build a mall over an active volcano and then to just turn around and cancel at the last moment before you put a roof on the sucker because you know that building was impossible to build and sustain in the first place - but successfully took enough idiots money to pay the construction workers and executives.

This right here. I was as shocked as you were about the whole thing. The money dumped in to that just to file. It almost seems criminal, short of the fact they dumped 10 million shares right after the filing and were thus looking for a bump. They made the whole thing now look like a ruse.
