Frankly, I'm tired of all these 90 year olds hanging on drawing Social Security and Mediscare. The only way these two programs will ever be fiscally viable is if the gummint changes course and starts handing ~OUTT smokes for free, and having mandatory smoking classes in grade school and putting a pack on the lunchtrays of the kids.
What we need is what we had in the 1950s and 1960s - people smoking from their teens through their most productive working years - PRODUCING - and then kicking off at 60 from lung or bladder cancer or cardiovascular events.
We need to gett people back to smoking and eating fried and BBQ foods, preferably deep-fried in trans fats and beef tallow.
And let's get back to drinking in the office. Like Mad Men, have a complete bar set up on your credenza and hire a young kid from the mailroom to freshen everyones' ice bucket twice a day.
And stop the cigarette filters. Let's go back to unfiltered smokes only - good ole Lucky Strikes and the unfiltered Camels.
Otherwise, North America and Europe are going to be smothered by all these old geezers living to 110 and pulling benefits for many decades for arthritis, bursitis, cararacts, etc., etc.
