The A/S increase and R/S are just proposals, nothing is set. Also, if these are moves to allow for an acquisition/expansion, I don't see how this would be a detrimental move for the company. News should be out today, hoping premarket so we don't get people panic selling after reading comments like yours. Theres a reason for the move, and we should know very quickly what that would be.
