But I am for legal immigration and control of our borders.

I think all voters are for legal immigration and control of the borders.

Unfortunately it seems to me that the Republican politicians are not.

They like to use illegal immigration as a way to get votes.

When the gang of 8 came up with a comprehensive immigration bill Boehner wouldn’t act on it so it expired.

This was one of the few times that Democrats and Republicans tried to work together and it was a Republican House that buried it.
