Read Kruse's LinkedIn. He does not claim to be currently involved with XNRGI.

He is active with Karma automotive, not Fisker Inc.

Patents take a while to be granted. He would have been active with Sakti when the patent was applied for not necessarily when it is finally granted. His relationship now will be a partial ownership of that patent.
