Without going into what I accept or don't accept, let's look at your argument logically.

$SIGO: "We'll update you on the harvest reports".

Penknee: "We haven't seen an update yet so that was a lie".

Since $SIGO didn't state when the update would occur, it's incorrect to state that they lied just because they didn't provide the update within Penknee's timetable. What if they provide the update tomorrow? They will have fulfilled their promise.

Would I like to have seen an update on the harvest results? Yes.

Would I like to see the 10-K and 10-Qs? Yes.

Still, logic must prevail over speculation and emotion.
