Because most people dont do their own DD anymore. They follow people they "trust" and blindly buy the tickers called out. Discord has madr this much worse IMO. I talked to a few bigger players, that i know, a few weeks ago about ABCE, and they said they were waiting on note conversions to be done before they would think about taking a position. Id imagine that sentiment is shared among most otc big hitters (you dont become big players by buying into dilution). Now that its been confirmed notes are done, id bet a few of them are trying to load off of the bid before next catalyst.

Hard to say with any certainty, just my interpretation.
