FYI, at ~10:00 this morning, SOXL is up 5.47% from where I would have bought in last Friday at this same time of day. While I understand the whole 'past performance is not a guarantee of future returns' clause, I am grinning ear to ear today. 5.47% exceeds the entire gains I have been able to acheive in my Fidelity 401k plan in 2018 so far. I should have my funds transfer from Fidelity to TD Ameritrade complete and be able to trade in TD Ameritrade this week.
I installed Thinkorswim last week. I had some difficulties getting it to initialize and had to call to have them connect it to my TD Ameritrade account. Now all is good. When you first open it up, you are asked a question if you want to open it up in your active account, or paper trade only. I was able to paper trade, but not get into my active account. All appears to work properly now.
From what I was able to see so far, way more functions and features than needed, but a huge improvement over our past limitations.
