IMO..Them joining goes to the issue of Amarin's patent moat...

Mochita was using EPA in way that could challenge Amarin's patents on the issue of novelty...Novelty is the biggest issue in the PTO...

Mochita is a traditional family business in Japan...Who has never felt the need to go international...Amarin's competitors could enlist Mochita in their attempts to break Amarin's patents...Bringing Mochita into the tent is a very wise move..
