My dad told me a story about an acquaintance of his that convince a small publisher to publish his book. It was just a small run of 60,000 copies. Him and his family around the country bought up every copy of his book they could get their hands on using credit cards and even a line of credit against his house. This was back in the days before Amazon. The publisher was so thrilled with the sales of his book they did a second printing run of 500,000 copies and this time spent some money on promotion and arranged for book signings and radio interviews. Suddenly the book started selling like crazy.
If everyone on this board just bought 5 copies of the game as Christmas presents Walmart would be thrilled with the quick sales and reorder more games. Then other retailers would also want to stock this new hot game. A self-fulfilling prophecy
