Clancy I would like to refer you to a previous posting from you:
msg# 10963
"But, hypothetically speaking ....if, a principal of a firm was communicating one-on-one with various investors.... with the intent of giving those investors the erroneous impression that positive company news was imminent, and did so for the purpose of creating a market in which to liquidate his/her own shares...

... now THAT would be wrong...not that I know of anyone who has actually done that.

That behavior would be just too nasty for anyone I know of."

Clancy how wrong would that be? Would it be wrong for a individual to do this instead of a principal? In the Lebed case they decided in the amount of $285k wrong. Just curious about your feelings...it sounds like from the advice you already received(lawyer friend)... the rest of us would be wasting everyones time trying to tie all the emails and postings with the market prices...losses and gains...BVdog
