Hi I am wondering about the legality of releasing "official" news on twitter? Can companies be held liable for lying or misleading people on twitter like they can with official releases? Trump lies daily on twitter knowing it will not count if he gets into court and it has made me notice and grow concerned that an alarming number of companies in this market are also relying on twitter instead of paying to information released

Anyone know the laws regarding this?
