The Great USA war....

We sit here on the brink of what is very likely to be a successful R-I trial...Nothing is for certain..but things look very optimistic..

Vascepa has the potential to help millions of people facing age related degenerative diseases and that is great news..But.

THe USA is now in a state of war...Health care costs are spiralling out of control and are expanding at a rate which in unsustainable..This is not because doctors, nurses, technicians or other ancillary medical personnel are making more money..All are facing potential salary cuts..The malpractice industry is a cancer which increases healthcare costs an estimated 25-30% and benefits no one except the lawyers..The crisis is not being caused by drug prices or medical research...though improving FDA's marketing process would help...

The real problem is the obesity epidemic that is sweeping the nation...Being grossly overweight is not just an eyesore...it is a disease in every sense of the word...The enemy is the food industry, the ad industry, television...and finally ourselves..We need to get the message out...That it is not alright to get fat any more than its alright to get cancer...

Abdominal obesity is prime promoter of high systemic inflammation which leads to all the degenerative processes which we discuss on this site. Insulin resistance..T2DM..high trigs..CVD and also cancer...Here's a thought...Cancer cells love fat....

The food industry should be required to have warning labels similar to those on cigarettes...Food is the new cigarettes...TV ads should not glorify getting larger helpings for less money...That's just what we don't need...TV shows featuring fatsos should be off the air...Including the new wave of fat chic news castors...

Its a war...We need more information on the tube about how to control weight gain..its really not that hard...Fat people are going to bankrupt the country if we don't do something about it...
