In the link you provided it stated “elderly consumers often suffering from diseases like dementia." My granddad had Alzheimer’s which I believe is the most common type of dementia.

At any rate, I’m not suggesting those over 75-80 are more easily duped than the young or middle aged, just that for those who prey upon older folks with dementia etc., I’m pleased the government is taking steps to combat them.
