I've always been offended by statements like "defrauded millions of elderly and vulnerable."

The young aren't targeted because they don't have money. I know a 30 year old girl with $100k in college loans... for cosmetology courses! Some of the biggest scammers are for-profit trade schools. For many minority kids, all their free cash goes for lavish clothing and phones. No one calls those scams but they are.

Middle aged are away at work. Hard to contact.

And no one has a landline phone anymore... except old geezers... like me. I've never seen any proof that the elderly are especially gullible.
