Li's pledge to transfer his shares to Eontec never made much sense to me.

Ditto. A lot of what comes out of the Eontec meetings doesn't make sense. There must be a lot lost in translation.

E.g., as confirmed by Joshuaeyu, it was Li's personal money that he used to buy shares in LQMT. (Li sold a lot of his Eontec stock to get the capital to buy shares in LQMT.) So by what logic does Li turn over his LQMT shares to Eontec? Is Li a businessman or a Philanthropist? The "pledge" story is either utter nonsense or an honest misunderstanding.

There is schizophrenic duality regarding Eontec:
Eontec is the future source of LQMT's revenues.
Eontec, is going to steal LQMT's patents, take over LQMT and ruin the company.
