I can guess that they have not closed their short positions, simply because they hammer any upside buy with sell orders...clearly a sign they are filling orders with short sales....believe me, if MM were long in their accounts, they would peddle this merchandise to "high heaven" for all the anxious buyers out there... have you notice two brokerage houses have recommended an outperform rating on Wmih, and the stock is going g nowhere?... why?... simply because they don't have the stock to fill the buy orders from their portfolios... they are either naked shorting, or just shorting to fill all buy orders... that is why the share price is not rising....believe me, 20 million shares traded yesterday would spark any rally on wall street... the MM would salivate with this kind of demand if they were LONG in their portfolio...they are still short, and their portfolio is bare on the long side...
