Great day to get cheap shares because of that study.

Hi Col317,

I don't think this study is much different then the ones we saw about a decade ago when other companies tried to use silkworms. The "trick" wasn't so much the ability to get the silkworm to produce higher amounts of spider silk protein, the real "trick" was to get the silkworm to incorporate the spider silk protein into the structure of the silk in the right place and at the right time.

This is why Kraigs Labs very first worms saw their silk strength increase by about 50% with only about 5% spider silk protein.

This was the work of Donald Jarvis, and it is the key to KBL's IP. And as far as I'm able to tell, it is a trade secret which is not disclosed in KBLs patent filings.

On another note, If the Army was the only client that KBL ever partnered with, the company would still be worth billions. So if in the future, a team from China tries to knock-off Kraigs process or steal their worms, the army still wouldn't be able to buy from them. And if it's flagrant, neither will any other respectable company in the U.S. Is Target allowed to sell fake Nike's? All IMO
