That's because it IS a slow, painful death. Once again, the up volume on GC futures when it was increasing earlier today is WAY bigger than the last few hours where it has been slowly declining. It's been that way last few days. Up volume is huge, down volume is minimal.

Same thing with GDX. Just crossed 12 mil shares on the day with 35 minutes to close. Slow, painful. And now, I fear it's going to get worse...faster. Look at this daily, after attempting to breakout of this ridiculous straight down narrow channel Friday...pushed down hard back into it with the lower range way below current level. The EMA 4 on this chart is literally impenetrable!!!
