... goes up, the short interest will become more aggressive. Only one problem with that is there are no shares available at this level. Imagine how scarce they will be when the stock gaps up on news.

A good number of shares will have to be covered first for the short interest to borrow them back again. Right now borrowable short shares are scarce. They lack ammunition and its not getting better.
