Trust me when I tell you that Linda has not boxed herself in. She is a smart lawyer. The most important thing for her is to get approval. When she unblinds, she wants to be pretty certain that she has the goods enough for approval. She has a lot of resources at hand including professional statisticians and the SAB. The input and advice they give her on unblinding is pretty much determinative. She is not going to waste 10+ years in clinical trials and then unblind prematurely against the advice of her counsellors. If she has to, she will fund NWBO herself. She does not care about what shorts do or for that matter what her investors think. She has effective control and will do whatever is necessary to cross the goal line of approval. And if that means going into 2019, that is exactly what she is going to do.
