Newbie question

OK..this biofuel can run both diesel and gas engines
right?

However, engines are designed to run on certain quality fuels...how do we know that this biofuel would not harm engines in the long term...or short term. My point is, the biofuel might run the engines fine short term(like a demo)..but how would we know of any longer term complications.
