You make a point that the Alzheimer’s Association - an international organization with a purported common goal - should be the ONE entity with sincere scruples.
But, didn’t it seem the least bit odd to anyone else watching this unfold that this organization has SPONSORS which are in fact some of the very companies which present at these conventions? (A red flag - conflict!)
And when I called out the fact that a PLATINUM SPONSOR - highest level of paid sponsorship was able to have its time slot changed in order to present right after us, with bogus data, did common sense rule the day or hope and naïveté? (Not anyone specifically - the general masses)
Most were hoping for an increase in SP prior to the conference and a boost after with great news. BIIB - the platinum sponsor got that!
Coincidence? I said that would happen and there are no coincidences. I hope the blinders are off now.
I follow Jean Georges, Exec Dir of Alzheimer’s Europe, on Twitter. He hosts the European Conference and tweets a lot. You simply CAN NOT believe how “in the tank” this guy - responsible professional (?!) is for the BP’s.

Their motto which he touts is “Care today, cure tomorrow.” Wtfh is wrong with this picture??? He wants to see ongoing “care” ie treatment of symptoms as opposed to a cure! Why not a cure??? Cause the ongoing symptoms drugs play right into the wheelhouse of BP’s.
Sad but true. I tweeted him what about Anavex’s results of stabilization at 47 weeks?

I’d like to find the stage in which money doesn’t talk, and then present our science there. I do not think Missling is a rogue. Far from it!
