The DPZ issue has been part of discussions for more than a year - AVXL is in tough spot - the A2-73 alone patent is expiring or expired - to get some kind of IP protection they need to come up with combo so A+ patent was applied - they never even issued PR when they got it after initial issues.

To keep patent they have to use DPZ with A2-73 -but DPZ and A2-73 have affinity to S1R and the affinity is stronger - so when DPZ is given A2-73 efficacy reduces - so giving DPZ with A2-73 is a problem

This theory is debated or denied many times but M never clarifies or gives clear answer.
