Partnership timing:

I will go with the textbook tried and true...

The mound visit comes when we have runners in scoring position. Look for a pitching substitution upon that timeframe.

Beginning of enrollment and first dosing is a lead off hit and man on first. Once enrollment is finished and all patients are dosed, we have runners in scoring position. Look for them to yank their pitcher. (Pull the trigger on a deal.)
At that point, runners will be going on every pitch - approval could come at any time.

C’mon, you guys watch baseball! That’s how it’s played.
(Bucs walked off in the Bot of 9th last night - I was there. Nice.)

Missling strategically set up a game where he is not playing on the FDA’s home field advantage. However, since the initial trial was conducted in Australia, and he is from the EU, one could argue these are not “away” games and he has “home” field advantage. In which case, I’d look for him to close it out in the top of the 9th. Don’t bet on the need for a Bottom of the 9th, imo.

Besides, we’re saving our bullpen for A3-71.

Score update: The Press coverage pitting David against Goliath in a long showdown is continuing to play out just as predicted.

Look for that mound visit with RISP!
(They (BP) know!)
