There is no reason not to have a blog update of progress unless none has been made. They could easily announce that parts have been ordered/received and upfitting will begin or is ongoing and trucks are on track to be completed on schedule. They must of thought that with 10 orders in hand funding would be easy. Or as I have suggested in the past, the stripper loving, bankrupting business cheeto that represents us now messed up the agreed to prepayments by threatening a car tax. The customers could of decided down payments were a bad idea with the uncertainty associated with the true final cost.
