I think there was a time (not so long ago) the PTAB could be persuaded to make a decision based on the money trail (as we saw most of the judges were former google and apple attorneys, according the Sawyer letters..from what I understood).

But now, I don't think that's the case with all the negative publicity they've been receiving, and with the bill recently introduced that would relieve them of their duty (jobs). I think that might be why they are taking so long to make their decision. If it was the same panel as a couple years ago, this easily would have gone in favor of Apple. IMO
