Frankly, I wouldn't want to be in his shoes, because even selling his shares eventually could be subject to scrutiny. I have been there- have held stock in companies that subsequently became clients of my law firm had to establish "Chinese Walls" between myself and my partners to ensure that I was blocked form any information in our system/that my partners learned in their representation.
