If there are 5.5 million Americans with Alzheimer’s, Anavex will be able to treat only 80% of those, about 4.4 million.

How many of the 80% of those patients when they hear that there is a new safe effective drug with symptomatic relief for Alz will not want to try it......IMMEDIATELY! Hell I might even want to try the drug even if I wasnt want one that responded from the biomarker sample.

Early approval in ph 2/3 Au AD trial working for %80 of the AD population with a targeted drug proven to work will equate to a massive market share very FAST! If the FDA wants to sit on its hands so be it. I wouldnt want to be in the HHS or answer Gottliebs phone when this comes home to roost.
