With respect to BD (whom I used to look up), somehow there are people who dream about WMI assets that survive until now and somehow a mini WAMU will be created. But that's not true because they will be liquidated and the proceed from the sale will be returned to those who signed release. Unless someone did not sign release...

Every bankruptcy is different and in this case, the judge had ruled that all assets will be sold except for WMMRC. SH or not, they would be sold. WMILT stands for WMI Liquidating Trust. Even WMI will be liquidated.

So I think this is a case of buyer remorse or non buyer remorse and a lot of people missed the boat in 2012. Instead of moving on with the future which is WMIH, they try to cling to the old stuff and create all kind of theories to justify it. Now they are going to miss the second chance and there will be no third chance.
