Well the pitcher better be on the 40 man he is in triple A, and should go right to the major immediately. The dumpster fire that is known as the mets bullpen which just got worse with the loss of familia, he should take his spot on the roster.
I mean the guy is 26, and pitching to a great era in the PCL, and his strikeout totals for innings pitched is absurd. so he certainly does have potential because when I see those kinds of strikeout to innings pitched and see a whip well under 1 in the PCL. It is screaming at me it is time to be promoted. because he ain't pitching well, he is pitching dominant. and very few do that in the pcl. Having said all of that a horrible return nonetheless, because the other guy should of been a better prospect to be honest I didn't mind the reliever as the 2nd piece, the 1rst piece guy was such a terrible prospect.
The mets have a terrible farm system he was ranked 17th in the a's system he actually went down to ranked 20th in the mets system, hence we know he is not any good, plus the number this guys is posting in high a ball at 23 tell me he is a non prospect, if the mets would of gave up money and got a better guy than the 3b, I actually would of been happy with the return, because the international slot money I like having and the reliever is worth a shot based on the numbers I'm looking at. But they were once again focused on saving money, so they got a terrible return, as always this is the plan, they don't draft well (Bad Gm), their training staff is terrible, they sign bad FA (Bad GM), their ownership isn't very good. Their manager is the worst I have ever seen manage a team. Their scout have no clue. Other than that everything is running in tip top shape in my opinion.
