If I recall correctly, Joey showed an absolutely piss poor attitude on the call well before any shareholders had a chance to speak. Stop trying to justify his lack of professionalism. It was utterly appalling.
If a customer at one of his restaurants is unhappy and voices their concern, would it be smart for Joey to act agitated and unprofessionally in response, just because his bloated ego is hurt? If he can't control himself with his shareholders, it makes me wonder how he treats his patrons.
He's nothing more than a restaurant manager calling himself a CEO. If he wants the fancy title, it comes with an expectation of professionalism,.especially towards his own investors. How does a “CEO" not know that?
