X, after all these years I too would take the "sure thing". I think Lebby and Leonberger have a real good idea of where this thing is going. There has been somewhat of a lull in the substantive news flow from LWLG. I think that is about to change.

Per the most recent LWLG news release-

Dr. Liu will be assisting the company release 400Gbps and 800Gbps products based on Lightwave Logic’s polymer PIC platform.

Dr. Liu will be assisting the company release 800Gbps products. It sounds like they may be ready to unveil a 100Gbps modulator that can support 800Gbps products. If so this would show the ability to scale. Wouldn't it be nice to send customers both 50Gbps and 100Gbps modulators at the same time? Why can't LWLG optimize the 50Gbps and 100Gbps modulators at the same time?
