The calculations can be done with either Opening prices or Closing prices (but not both at the same time). The choice is always printed at the top of the chart. The distribution will be a little different depending on the choice. For this chart, Opening prices were chosen.
For instance, the dense peak at $60 will shift down to $59 (the location of the upper Intermediate) and be distributed a little differently if Closing prices are chosen.
