So I don't know what all sites use to calculate the current float. Yahoo has 10 million currently which is way off. The 7.9 million that iHub shows is closer. My 7 million was an estimate based on my calculations as I knew Yahoo's was wrong and saw different numbers on different websites. The two sites I use most to find institutional holdings, which in turn helps me calculate the float, are Fintel and Whale Wisdom. Even their numbers differ but at least it gets us an estimate. When I estimated 7 million it was based off the outstanding shares and the shares that are held by insiders and institutions. The largest holders currently are listed below:

Eastern Capital: ~5.3M shares (13D: HERE)
Iroquois Capital: ~500K shares (13D: HERE)
Brio Capital: ~800K shares (13G: HERE)

I am going to estimate about 250K extra shares held at other institutions based on the above sites I usually reference.

As of the filing of the most recent 10K (HERE) all insiders owned ~1M shares. This is assuming they exercised their stock options set to expire this month.

If we add up all these above numbers we get ~7.85M shares held by institutions and insiders. Subtract that from the current outstanding shares of ~12.77M we get the float, ~4.92M shares. I guess my estimate of 7M shares was a bit off. This calculation assumes that the above referenced shares are not sold and continue to be held by the institutions and insiders. We won't know if they sold anything until new documents are filed. The above numbers are current as of earlier this year.

Given that the new shares to be issued will be issued to institutions and insiders the float will not change unless the shares are sold. The float only changes if new shares are issued to the public or insiders and/or institutions sell their shares on the open market.
