Daniel: I have to plead ignorance. I had not read the charges and allegations against GTE by AMEX. If those are an accurate summary, then I have to admit that things do not look good. Khoury has his work cut out for him.
Down deep inside, I'd like to see GTEM succeed. I don't wish them or their shareholders any harm. Like I said before, I know Huff and I am aquainted with the CEO of another telecom company who WAS indicted by the SEC for securities fraud. Huff bears no resemblance to him whatsoever. Huff was always straight up with me and I have no grudge against him. I can honestly say that all of his PR's that had direct bearing on me and the first Strat during my tenure there were always 99.9% factual. There might possibly have been an error or two, but they were of little importance.
No man should be considered totally useless....because he can always serve as a bad example.
