Reichen's book sets the story straight on how the current BAN on gay people in the military destroys our armed forces in more ways than one. Since Don't Ask Don't Tell was enacted (a policy that cleverly covers up the continued BAN on gay people), over 10,000 active duty servicemembers have been discharged and over $340Million of your tax dollars have been spent on these discharges. Your presence at this event will honor us and those who have served with integrity, but who have been kicked out under a policy with no integrity. A requested, but completely optional, donation collection at the door will go to Servicemembers Legal Defense Network, who works to end this BAN in Washington.
